The apartment is located in the heart of the 4th district of Vienna called Wieden.
Within a radius of 80 meters are
Grocery stores, health food stores, the post office with a bank, a drugstore and many specialty shops (shoes, magazines, clothing) and various restaurants.
The so-called inner city (old town centre) can be reached on foot in 15 minutes.
The tram (stops are about 60 meters from the apartment) takes about 5 minutes.
3 different lines go to the center, which guarantees a very frequent departure frequency.
40 meters from the apartment you will find the attractive Wiedner Hauptstraße,
which runs in the direction of the city center and on which countless small shops are located.
The famous Naschmarkt can also be reached on foot within 15 minutes from the apartment.
The Belvedere Palace with its beautifully landscaped garden can also be reached in the same time.
The main station borders on the outer edge of the 4th district.
It is connected to the apartment by bus line 13A.
This is one of the most well-known bus lines in Vienna, with which you can also easily reach the Theater in Josefstadt (8th district).
Among other things, the path leads past the imposing House of the Sea and via Mariahilferstraße (the main shopping mile of the Viennese).
Car owners in Vienna find it difficult and unfortunately nowhere to find free parking spaces, because the city only allows parking in all inner districts (districts 1 to 9) for a fee.
It is therefore advisable to park the car in one of the many Park&Ride car parks.
These are on the outskirts of town.
Vienna's public transport network with its underground, trams and buses is one of the best in the world.
If you still don't want to do without driving, you will find hundreds of rental cars spread throughout the city.
You register once with your smartphone and from then on you can easily get into one of the cars and park for free at your destination.
There are also several bicycle stations on Wiedner Hauptstraße and in the other districts, where bicycles can also be rented with the help of cell phones.
Museums
Film buffs will get their money's worth at the Third Man Museum. It is located in the 4th district.
For those interested in painting there is

In addition, there are countless other museums that are just as important and large, such as
the Hundertwasser House, the Theater Museum, the MAK (Museum of Applied Arts), the imposing Museum of Military History or the most frequented museum in the city:
the Sisi Museum.
Musikvereinssaal
As the world capital of classical music, Vienna appropriately has the world's most famous concert hall, the Musikvereinssaal.
The New Year's Concert is broadcast worldwide from the Golden Hall of the house every year.
Of course there is also the Vienna State Opera, the Volksoper, the Theater an der Wien, the Burgtheater, Mozart's house, several Beethoven houses, Schubert's apartments that still exist and Sigmund Freud's practice, the Jewish Museum Vienna, the Prater, the Uno-City, . . .
But since it would be almost impossible to list all of Vienna's famous excursion destinations here, we'll end the round, but not without looking again in the neighborhood of the apartment and pointing out a small, great theater in Wiedner Hauptstraße No. 106 - 108:
There you can experience classics at a convincing level!
